MAPLE ROAD/NEW WIXOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROJECT
On Tuesday, September 15th at 7am, Maple Road west of Wixom Road will be reduced to one lane. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. By the end of the day, the full road will be opened to traffic. This road work will continue on Wednesday as needed. Please avoid the area if possible.
Work is necessary to install water main crossings for the new Wixom Elementary School.
FIBER INSTALLATION
This year, you may notice a lot of utility work in the area. Metronet is installing communications fiber throughout the City. This project is expected to wrap up approximately the end of May 2026. This is a private project supported by the City and local utilities. Please be patient and respect the efforts of all workers. Do not cover paint markings or remove flags. All yard repairs that are needed after the spring thaw will be completed by Metronet.
