The Parks and Recreation Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council on the recreational needs of the City and assists in the planning and implementation of the recreational events and park development for Wixom residents. The Parks & Recreation has a staff of full-time and part-time personnel to program recreational events and City functions on an ongoing basis.
