Please join in Sibley Square Park for these FREE fitness sessions. There is something for everyone; come and try something new! On July 27th Ascension will be hosting a health fair in conjunction with the free fitness session by MoreFit, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. If there is inclement weather, all fitness sessions will take place at each of the studios. Please check our Downtown Wixom Facebook page for more information and updates.

TABATA: follows the same format as interval training, but in a shorter duration. Exercises are completed in 20 seconds of high intensity followed by 10 seconds of rest. The cycle is repeated for 8 rounds or 4 minutes total for each exercise.

BOOT CAMP: designed to build strength and cardio fitness levels. Exercises area  mix of strength training and high intensity cardio intervals. Boot Camp workouts will challenge every muscle in your body. 

DANCE FITNESS: A great way to work your overall fitness. It improves your cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and balance. With a wide variety of styles of dance, Polynesian, Hip Hop, Jazz, and more. 

INTERVAL TRAINING: The same movements that compromise a boot camp and circuit training sessions. Interval training in is unique in the way the exercise is prescribed. Participants will engage in  and exercise for burst of high intensity, followed by a short period of lower intensity movement. This pattern is repeated throughout the session resulting in a complete workout.
