Anca, Inc.

Anca, Inc., a machine tool builder, recently celebrated with a ribbon cutting at their Wixom Facility. The company expanded their facility by 50%, adding a dedicated customer focus and training center, and doubling its machine demonstration area. The event is captured in the video below.

Anca, Inc., president, Russell Riddiford hosted representatives from the company's Melbourne, Austrailia headquarters, as well as many other visitors, including some local dignitaries. 

*Schonscheck, Inc., also a Wixom company, was contracted for the expansion. 

Ford Wixom Plant Property Sold

The former Ford Wixom Plant property has been sold to a new owner, Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP) of Solon, OH. ICP owns/has redeveloped other former automotive properties in multiple states, including here in Oakland County. They have indicated a desire to bring outstanding commercial and industrial uses forward for the property and we look forward to working together with ICP to transform this long vacant industrial space in Wixom.

Forgotten Harvest Foods Available at First Baptist Church of Wixom

Forgotten Harvest


First Baptist Church of Wixom's distribution of perishable food items is from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM the second Thursday of each month (October 11, November 8, December 13, etc.). The food items (dairy, vegetables, fruit, bread, etc.) are in good condition and completely free to all families in need!  First Baptist Church of Wixom is located at 620 N Wixom Road. Please call the church office at 248-624-3823 for more information.
