The City of Wixom is proud to announce that City Council appointed Steven Brown as City Manager at a Special City Council Meeting on April 17, 2017. Steve was formerly City Manager in Mount Clemons and has worked at SMART and in Wayne County government. Steve is a graduate of Kalamazoo College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration degree, and the University of Michigan's Rackham School of Graduate Studies, where he received his Master of Public Administration degree. Steve lives with his family in Farmington Hills and is excited to begin his new duties and responsibilities in Wixom. Steve will work as Assistant City Manager with City Manager Clarence Goodlein until the budget process is complete on May 23, when he will become the City Manager.
