QUALIFICATIONS: High school Diploma or equivalent; valid Michigan Driver’s License; experience with equipment listed below (or comparable to); able to work outside in adverse conditions; ability to lift at least 50 lbs. consistently during the day. Must pass a City standardized physical
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates truck with trailer, lawn mower, weed whip. (Chauffer’s license preferred)

Performs a variety of tasks involving physical strength and agility, digging holes and trenches, cutting grass in open fields, cleaning comfort stations.

Picks up rubbish, brush, leaves and other refuse as required.

Operates power-driven equipment and hand tools.

Assists with the maintenance of cemetery, parks and playground areas which include repairing of play structures, dragging and lining ball fields and cleaning public restrooms.

Assists in street cold patching, crack filling, grading and mowing crews.

Planting and watering of trees, shrubs and flowers.
-
Performs other related duties as required.
