The Michigan Economic Development Corporation has given A.Raymond Corporate North America, Inc., (Rochester Hills), Comau, LLC., (Southfield, Royal Oak and Novi) and GEDIA Michigan, Inc., (Orion Township) funding assistance from the state through the Michigan Strategic Fund.
“These three projects benefit Oakland County in so many ways, enhancing our skilled and educated workforce while continuing to generate significant international investment,” said County Executive L. Brooks Patterson.
Spanos said the county has started off the year with some great projects.
“The county continues to the preferred location for Global Robotics companies’ North American location,” said Spanos. “We have become the Global epicenter of Robotics technology and that’s a good place for us to be in because it’s like Information Technology, it cuts across many industries. Next Generation Robotics Technology opens up a new world for us in economic development, there isn’t an industry around that doesn’t use automation technology to be competitive.”
